David Zucker - Spielberg did not have a great plot to work with....

Spielberg did not have a great plot to work with. The Tom Cruise character doesn't really change himself, and he really doesn't change the outcome of things. I really didn't like the movie... The stupid plot we had in Airplane! Was better than that.
