He said, 'Yeah, let's do it,'.. Then he said, 'You should ask Keith [Richards].' I didn't want to impose my thing. He said, 'I'll ask him for you.' So he went to where Keith and Ronnie [Wood] were sitting. Before I knew it, the three of them in tandem walked back to me. I had no idea what they were going to say; it was the beginning of the tour, and we'd only done a few gigs. But Keith said, 'We're all in, mate.'
