Alan Thicke
Alan Thicke was a Canadian actor and songwriter best known for his role as Jason Seaver on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains from 1985 to 1992. He later appeared in many other television shows, including The Bold and the Beautiful, How I Met Your Mother, and Just Shoot Me! He also had a successful career as a songwriter and music composer, having written songs for shows such as Diff'rent Strokes, SWAT, and The Facts of Life. He released several albums, was a frequent talk show guest, and appeared as a judge on various game shows. He passed away in 2016.
