Amelie Mauresmo is a world-renowned French former professional tennis player, coach and current captain for France’s Fed Cup team. During her successful playing career, Mauresmo won two Grand Slam singles titles at the Australian Open in 2006 and Wimbledon in 2007, as well as two silver medals in singles at the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2006 WTA Tour Championships. She also reached the world No.1 ranking in singles and No.7 in doubles. After retiring in 2009, Mauresmo became a coach and helped former player Andy Murray to two major titles and a world top-ranking.
