Andy Hertzfeld
Andy Hertzfeld is a computer scientist and software engineer who is best known for his work on the original Apple Macintosh development team in the early 1980s. After leaving Apple in 1985, he co-founded three software startups, Eazel, Radius and HI-Sci. In 2011, he was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame for his achievements in the computer industry. Hertzfeld is also an inventor on 10 patents related to computers, graphics, and user interfaces. He was awarded the National Medal of Technology in 1998 for his pioneering contributions to the Macintosh computer.
