Religion is an attempt to get control over the sensory world, in which we are placed, by means of the wishworld which we have developed inside us as a result of biological and psychological necessites.
I still get wildly enthusiastic about little things... I play with leaves. I skip down the street and run against the wind.
To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter; to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring these are some of the rewards of the simple life.

There is nothing more corrupting, nothing more destructive of the noblest and finest feelings of our nature, than the exercise of unlimited power.
This is the true nature of home it is the place of Peace the shelter, not only from injury, but from all terror, doubt and division.

As the moon retaineth her nature, though darkness spread itself before her face as a curtain, so the Soul remaineth perfect even in the bosom of the fool.
As the husband is, the wife is; thou art mated with a clown, And the grossness of his nature will have weight to drag thee down.
Ideas, like individuals, live and die. They flourish, according to their nature, in one soil or climate and droop in another. They are the vegetation of the mental world.
