Al MacNeil
Al MacNeil was a Canadian professional hockey coach and executive. He was known for leading the Calgary Flames to Franchise's first Stanley Cup victory in 1989 and served as Head Coach of the Montreal Canadiens and Assistant Coach of the New York Islanders. MacNeil was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2020. Throughout his career, he coached over 700 professional games and won numerous honors. He also served as a member of the Hockey Canada Board of Directors and Hockey Canada Hockey Council from 1993 to 2008. He was also inducted into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame in 2020.
