Alan Parsons is a British music producer, sound engineer, singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known for his work on The Beatles' "Abbey Road" and his work in the progressive rock genre with The Alan Parsons Project. As a record producer, Parsons was involved in some of the most iconic albums of the 20th century, including Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon", Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like An Eagle", and Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat". As a musician, he recorded several albums and toured with the likes of Elton John, Rick Wakeman, Gary Brooker, and Chris Thompson.
