Alfred Eisenstaedt was a pioneering German-American photographer responsible for iconic images such as “The Kiss”, taken moments after the celebration of the end of World War II on V-J Day in Times Square, New York. His career in photography spanned more than 60 years, during which he worked mainly for Life Magazine.
