I would always try to cheer them on at practice. I'll try to get them to do certain things in practice that I know that they can do so that they could see that they could do them.

It never occurred to me to leave. I still wanted to watch everyone and support the teamand I guess a part of me hoped I would get better even though I knew I wouldn't.

A lot of it was just trying to get them to be more vocalto take charge a little more. Both of them are younger so they have to learn to speak up and lead a little more. They just have to be a little more confident.

I like playing point because you're in charge. It's also what I'm best atpassing is one of my strengths. In field hockey, I play midfield, which is kind of the same as a point guard. You're more in control of things like distributing the ball.

It was hard early in the season. It still isespecially if the team is struggling. I want to go in and help the team. Watching the team is fun but I would prefer to be out there. The first Guilford game [a 66-52 loss] was especially hard. That was the game that I really realized that I would never play again.
