Andrew McCarthy
Andrew McCarthy is an American actor, travel writer, and television director. He is best known for his roles in '80s classics such as Pretty In Pink, St. Elmo's Fire, and Mannequin. He stayed in the acting business throughout the '90s and 2000s, even appearing on television shows such as White Collar and Lipstick Jungle. Outside of acting, McCarthy moonlights as a travel writer, authoring numerous pieces for the New York Times and National Geographic Travel. He also recently became involved in directing for television, bringing his creativity and stories to the small screen.
