There are probably three or four races where it could have an impact. We're just going to have to work harder in those.

The Senate is a lot tougher. I think it's likely we could have a majority in the Senate, but it's only going to be about one. But I think we'll definitely have a majority in the House.

Most of the races without Republicans are strong Democratic seats that would be long shots anyway.

We need a platform to (present) Republican issues. With all Democratic control it will be all about (Gov.) Brian Schweitzer all the time. With Republican majorities, we can shift some of the focus back on us.

Campaign finance laws exist for disclosure. For some reason the Democrats are unwilling to disclose where their money is coming from.

I am seriously worried it could cost us a couple of seats, and as tight as things are in the Legislature, it could cost us a majority. We not only have to promote our candidates, but we also have to let people know what the stakes are and how important it is to vote Republican.
