He (Eden) has been big for us rebounding, defensively and shooting. I wouldn't say a surprise for this year, but he's a kid who has stepped up over and beyond what I expected for him this year. And David Spencer had a heck of a game. He's a kid that's getting better and better every night. He's a junior that's only been playing since eighth grade, so he's going to get better and better as the year goes on, too.

One would be to work at getting myself in shape as hard as my team does getting ready for a basketball game.
work game team hard ready basketball
It wasn't up-tempo by any means. We really struggled from the floor tonight. Our offense just couldn't get on track and they're patient enough offensively.
offense
We threw the ball away, a little more composure and we would have pulled it out. We seem to have little bad stretches that nip us in the butt.
bad
In the first half we played out 'ugly' defense and they had trouble with it. To hold Norway to 16 points in the first half is a good sign.
trouble good defense sign
In the second half, we played real hard, pressed hard, got up in their faces. In the first half, we relied on 3-point shooting. We had one 2-pointe and seven 3s. Granted it was a zone defense, but we did a lot of standing around.
real hard defense faces shooting
It's a good sign that we gathered it (composure) back tonight, especially late in the game. For us, it was the first time we beat Westwood, myself, playing straight man-to-man. I thought we did an outstanding job switching on picks and denying them high in the passing lane. I thought hat was kind of the difference in the game.
time game thought kind good difference job beat sign
