We turned the ball over 25 times, which robbed us of any chance to win the game. We turned it over 24 times up there (a 77-61 loss Dec. 10 in Rensselaer, Ind.). I take the blame for that. That's what we talked about in practice, but I guess I didn't do a very good job of getting their attention.

Being a veteran team with five senior starters, when they get you down they put you away. They're worthy of their ranking. That's why they're first in our division and why they'll go deep into the NCAA Tournament.
division deep team worthy
I think the most important thing is that we're 8-7 in the conference. It's the toughest Division II conference in the country. We're probably going to get five teams in the NCAA Tournament. But more than that, I'm proud of them. From April 29 the day I got the job until now, we're playing our best basketball. That's how you build a program.
