Andrea Pirlo
Andrea Pirlo is a retired Italian professional footballer who played as a central or attacking midfielder for the Italian national team and A.C. Milan, as well as other clubs around the world. Pirlo is widely considered one of the greatest deep-lying playmakers of all time. His range of passing, vision and ability to dictate play with his precise long-range passing, his accurate shots, and his technique and dead-ball expertise, have led fans, journalists and current and former players to acclaim him as one of the best midfielders of his generation. He was inducted into FIFA's Football Hall of Fame in May 2021.
