Andriy Shevchenko
Andriy Shevchenko is a Ukrainian politician and former professional footballer who is the current manager of the Ukraine national football team. He is the country’s all-time leading goal-scorer and the second highest goalscorer in Champions League history. From the mid nineties to the late 2000s, he was considered one of the best strikers in the world, winning the UEFA Ballon d'Or, UEFA’s Club Footballer of the Year, and European Footballer of the Year. During his playing days, Shevchenko featured for Dynamo Kyiv, Milan, Chelsea, and the Ukrainian national team. He also managed the national team between 2016 and 2020, a tenure which saw them qualify for the UEFA European Championship in 2018. In 2020, Shevchenko began serving in Ukrainian parliament.
