I think part of it is figuring out how to do it all - have families, be involved in a church or charitable organization and have a practice that can be demanding in terms of time.

In Athens, I feel really that I get treated with equal respect and that it doesn't make a difference in terms of male-female. I think there is a much better sense of professionalism in the legal community. I think there's a level of respect there that may not exist in other places.

I would guess that the percent of women practicing law in Athens is smaller than the percent in law school, but I think if you looked at it on a larger basis, it probably isn't substantially different.
