Every time the truckers stop, there's ladies that come around and pick on the door. The devil's trying to keep them from coming in here. But if you just let them talk for a few minutes, you can figure out what their needs are. Then we're able to pray about those needs.

Part of the state-wide scheduling meeting was, some of these schools around the state have had trouble getting games, but if we all do our share..

Really it's kind of fun in a way because we get to play teams from other parts of the state, which is fun because we didn't do too much of that before.

The lawsuit is not doing anything to the process. We have to move forward, just like with scheduling. We have to schedule based on what we know to be the way it will be next year, today.
today process forward

We'd have a lot of trouble going back to the old school now. And everyone will feel great about this after we go through next year. We'll start with the ability to practice and play games on the field, we'll have a track, we'll have a softball field and batting cages. Next year will be even nicer because we'll have everything in place.
trouble ability games practice school feel start play place great
Next year we can go right out the door and be on our fields.

We feel our athletic programs are worth it, that they are a great investment for the district. We think that athletics serve a huge function. We feel they help keep kids in school, with the grade and attendance requirements we have. We know the two schools benefit from it and we understand the (financial) constraints of the district.

When you cut young programs you do more damage than good. You don't save that much, you save the coaches' salaries. I don't want to think about where we'd cut, I would rather think in the other direction.
good direction young save damage
