They (the FEMA inspectors) tried to put it as nice as possible. They said that by us being able to stand in that house and not worrying about it collapsing on us (that day), it wasn't eligible.

Their entire business model is built on keeping prices and labor costs low; that's why, when it comes to health care, they would prefer to have taxpayers pay for it than to pay for it themselves. Clearly they can afford it.
