I thought Walker just stepped up and (turned on his game) in the second half, just refuse to lose.

Every time (we play them) it's always close no matter what they have, no matter what we have.

I thought the kids did a great job after I left. I was proud of my kids. They did everything I'd coached them to do.

Experience. We had a young team coming in and they've (gotten better). Our guards have been playing better and I think we're coming together. And we should, because we're getting near the midpoint of the season.

I thought we played hard. But South Shore played hard too. Give them credit. They were able to play their style of basketball and take control of the game in the paint. They killed us on the boards, and that was the difference in the game.

We played well on defense. We were able to hold them in check pretty well in the half court. But overall, it just wasn't our night.

It was nice to get a win. We had played well in our last two games and not won. So it was nice to play well and get a win in this game.

It was a good win. That's two in a row without (the injured Randall) Walker. The kids are getting some confidence.
confidence good kids win
I think the success (the conference) has had in tournaments the last couple of years has helped. The Division 3 teams and Division 4 teams have had success. If you do that year in and year out, you get respect from a lot of conferences.
success division respect teams
We're only looking at Glidden. Without (Randall) Walker, we're vulnerable. But we can still beat any team. But we're not looking past Glidden.
