Amy Heckerling
Amy Heckerling is an American film director and screenwriter best known for her mega-hits Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Look Who's Talking, and Clueless, which popularized teen/youth culture in the cinema. She has been awarded multiple honors and awards including a 1999 National Society of Film Critics award, a Los Angeles Film Critics Association award, and a BAFTA film award nomination. Heckerling began her career writing and eventually produced a number of television series before making the move to feature films. She is the first female director to gross over $100 million in the domestic box office with her movie, Clueless.
