We'll come back next week, see if we can lower our scores. We need to have them all have low scores on the same day.

Every year we go to Prairie Winds and it comes up and catches some kids. It was the same this year. I was pleased we came out on top this year.

I think anyone that played left some strokes out on the course.

As far as the team goes, other than Riley, we left some strokes out on the course today. We'll get back after it, starting in Pierre on Monday.

Our seniors had a good couple of days, I'd like to congratulate them. And as for our underclassmen, it's time for them to start thinking about next year.
time days good start thinking
As a team they know that they can finish high and be in contention in tournaments. It means that much more to them out there on the course. We're not there yet. We need to continue to improve.
contention team
Every stroke counts. We've played well but there's room for improvement. I'm sure we'll play a little worse at times and a little better at times. We want everyone to put it together on the same day.
improvement day play times worse
We'd been playing a lot lately and there was nothing on the line. It was kind of a practice round and the kids had more of a free-swinging attitude. Some guys ballooned up a little and some played well.
attitude kind practice kids guys
I'm really happy for Riley. The fact that he was able to go out and win the ESD, that's a pretty big accomplishment.
accomplishment happy win fact big pretty
In general throughout the season, Riley was our leader on and off the course. The 79s are not something he'd like. He had less than adequate two days of putting, but otherwise he struck the ball very well.
