Gravity always wins

These two pitchers played an integral role in our championship last season. We are excited to see them get back out on the field and help us defend the title they helped win.

Our organization is in the thick of the pennant race and we want as many people at the park as possible. The support of the best fans in baseball is what fuels our play on the field, so we're hoping to see people come out and take advantage of this opportunity.

Armando has been a constant spark for our team. Whenever we need a big hit, he seems to through. He is just one of those guys that refuses to lose.

[Four Ducks players were named to the 2005 Atlantic League Post Season All Star Team. Outfielder Henry Rodriguez was selected after winning the regular season batting title and setting a new Ducks single season record for home runs. Second Baseman Carlos Hernandez was chosen after finishing second in the batting title race behind his teammate. Also recognized were pitchers Lance Davis and Todd Erdos. This season, Davis won the most games in a single season by a Ducks pitcher and also became the all-time wins leader in franchise history, while Erdos, in the role of closer, led the Atlantic League with 32 saves on the season.] We are very proud of these four guys,.. They put together exceptional seasons and led us to the post season for the second straight year.

Everyone on the team, including Pete, was drug-tested,.. I'm happy to say no one on the Ducks tested positive.
happy positive team
Obviously, this is something that happened [several] years ago when he was not with the Ducks and we didn't have knowledge of it. Obviously, it saddens us. While he was with us, he was a good guy.
good knowledge guy
We don't turn anyone away.
The league does drug testing and his results, along with the rest of the Ducks' results, came out negative.
results rest negative testing
He got off to a real bad start with us this year,.. But then he settled in. He hit about.260 with 14 home runs in about 350 to 400 at-bats. Mostly, he played first base and DH (designated hitter). He was pretty popular with the fans; he had that name.
home real bad start popular pretty
