I think it's a pretty good blend. They all get along and don't care who scores the points. The kids all pull for each other. They just want to win. That's the bottom line and it's a credit to our seniors.

I think it was a little bit to do with the substitution pattern. My fault. It also had a little bit to do with the kids being a little bit lax mentally. It kind of just snowballed from there and they threw in some prayers and banked a couple shots in.

Bridgman may have been off some shooting but we have to also take some credit for that.

Records don't mean anything this time of year. Everybody starts 0-0. Some teams play their best basketball at the end of the year. If we don't play good we'll be in trouble. If we play well we'll be fine.

I'm just really happy for the kids. When I took this job on short notice three years ago, I set a three to five-year goal to have this program be competitive and put out good kids that represent our community well. I think we've done that.

We have to stay at least even with them on the boards. We also have to do the little things, like make free-throws. On offense, we have to be consistent and not go through dry spells. I really feel that our defense will be OK.

They're extremely excited. Their goal is to make the state finals and win.
