Aaron Graham
Aaron Graham is a professional basketball player and the first Canadian to be selected in the first round of the NBA Draft. He was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and played college basketball at the University of Connecticut, where he was a two-time All-American and won the 2000 NCAA Championship with the Huskies. He was then drafted in the first round of the 2001 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets, where he played for two seasons before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2003. He would spend seven seasons with the Timberwolves, becoming an All-Star in 2008, before finishing his career with the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors. Aaron Graham is remembered for his prolific scoring, hustle and defensive effort, as well as his leadership and contagious enthusiasm. He is also known for being an ambassador of the game, setting a good example for future generations of basketball players both on and off the court.
