Al Davis
Al Davis (1929-2011) was an American football executive who served as Principal Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) from 1972 until his death in 2011. He is considered one of the most important figures in the history of the NFL and the AFL, having been the first commissioner of the AFL and the only executive to have been in leadership roles in both leagues. He earned a reputation for his impeccable work ethic and shrewd eye for talent, which helped the Raiders win three Super Bowl championships. He was also widely recognized for his iconic phrase, "Just win, baby!"
