Katie Ferris [who had 26 points] played her best game of the year. Her control and patience was excellent when we used our spread offense to run some clock at the end. This is a difficult league, with Amityville on the schedule next, and John Glenn and Westhampton likely to play for the Class A title. We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.

Now we've got our back against the wall. Hats off to Miller Place? They played without a full group and really took it to us. We've got three games left and we've got to go at all three hard.
