If you die and leave property to your partner, you're taxed on it as if you left it to a stranger. You can give your partner only 1,000 as a gift, but if you're married, you can give your wife unlimited gifts.

Gay people are really getting taxation without representation. I have no intention of paying taxes because my partner and I cannot be legally married and receive the same tax benefits as other married couples.

I have a lot of inner resource and I'm sure you could read and study in jail. Of course, all of this would have to go to court first and the constitutionality of not giving gays the right to marry would have to come up first.
