They tell their stories, and without positive stories, it's hard to convince people how important blood donation is. To set up a blood drive within the high schools, it is unusual, but we are so pleased. The high school program is lifeline of the future of Medic. Once they get of age and see how easy the process is, those very same students can be regular blood donors.

We are trying to get as much as possible. The holidays are hard for us as donations are always down. We are trying to cover our bases - we are lucky in having good weather, but it may not be the case later. We are trying to do all we can to ensure the safety of all 21 counties we serve.
