(Brooks) beat Durbin two times during the year. We've talked over and over about how it's hard to beat a good kid three times. Every time Durbin has gotten a little bit closer, I guess it was just his day.

We didn't really get after it like I was expecting. Neither one of them wanted to do anything in the beginning. It just came down to little spurts of action for Pugh to get a couple points on the board.

Placing fourth as a freshman and fourth as a sophomore and now second as a junior, you're climbing. Hopefully he's gotten a little taste of this and has a desire to get back.

He's been a great tribute to East Marshall wrestling from the little kids on up to the high school. He's a leader and kids look up to him. Shaking his hand for the last time brings a few tears to your eyes.
