I'm all for a change. There's a lot of coaching that goes on now. I'm not sure I want the coach on the court the whole match, but why not let the player talk to the coach between sets? It gives TV people something to talk about, and it adds to the experience for fans and viewers.

One thing about Andre,.. Never underestimate him.

I think he's really putting all his eggs in one basket and getting ready for the Open.

He's pushing the envelope,.. All these guys when they turn 30 can say, 'I can work hard and still make it happen.'

I don't know anybody who could take nine weeks off and then boom come back and win a tournament.

Twenty years ago, you'd see guys busting rackets in locker rooms. Today they do it in their hotel rooms.

The brain is big in every sport,.. Andre has become a swollen brain out there. He doesn't go for winners on every ball. That's what Andy is striving to do. That's what we are striving for. He's like a piece of clay right now. I don't think it's good thing at any sport if you're too good at 21 or it's too easy. You have to keep working and keep improving and he can do that. He's 21 and he's getting better.
good improving brain striving working easy sport big thing
The biggest disappointment of the first round was the four teenagers, who won only one set among them. I could see Murray losing to Juan Ignacio Chela but maybe in five sets, four sets, a brutal match.
disappointment teenagers losing
It's not like football where the officials take two or three minutes to review the call. The umpire sees it in 10 seconds, so it doesn't disrupt play at all.

Tiger would probably be a lot like Roger if all the golf tournaments were match play. Tiger is phenomenal, but he can't stop somebody from doing something. Besides the guys hoping that Federer loses, he's always got the opportunity to stop the other guy.

Because you can't change results - I would change my losses, and I would definitely like to see on-court coaching.

I remember Agassi playing Federer in Basel, Switzerland in 1998, and Andre was already saying at that time that Federer would be tough. Usually at the time players are 17, you can see if they will be great.

You see Boris Becker, Mats Wilander, Nadal, Pete Sampras - they were all great when they were young. As a coach, you can see that type of talent at an early age.
